INNOTRANS SHOWCASES THE BEST OF RAIL

SHOWCASING THE LATEST INNOVATIONS IN THE UK RAIL INDUSTRY

InnoTrans – the leading trade fair for transport technology – takes place every two years in Berlin, and the 12th show is on 18 to 21 September 2018.

Over 2,900 exhibitors from 60 countries will present innovations from the global rail industry: at the last show two years ago, 137,391 trade visitors came from 119 countries to explore the five sectors of the InnoTrans exhibition – Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction.

The latest high-speed trains, freight vehicles, locomotives and dual-mode road/rail vehicles will line up buffer-to-buffer on 3,500 metres of track in the outdoor exhibition area. Many more innovations can be found in the 41 halls, where some 3,000 exhibitors are seeking to make contact with business partners and potential customers, as well as finding talented new employees.

To satisfy high demand, the show’s organiser Messe Berlin is currently building a new hall (hub27) which will occupy around 10,000m2, and will be ready in good time for InnoTrans in 2020.
