After a series of delays, Warwickshire County Council said it aimed to open the new station at Kenilworth on 26 February, although as we went to press the station was still awaiting sign-off from Network Rail, operator West Midlands Trains and the regulator. On 1 February 2018 unit No 153364 calls at the new station on a crew training run on the route between Coventry and Leamington Spa. Fraser Pithie
