More destinations for Avanti Superfare

Avanti West Coast has added 10 new destinations in the North West of England to its low-cost Superfare ticket range.

Launched earlier this year on a trial basis until early 2024, the Superfare enables passengers to book a journey for a specific date and time of day but not to specify the exact time of travel, which is selected by Avanti based on availability, with 24 hours’ notice provided. Bookings can be made between seven and 21 days in advance of travel. Avanti says more than 6,000 passengers have purchased Superfare tickets so far.

New destinations are Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Crewe, Macclesfield, Wilmslow, Stockport, Runcorn, Wigan North Western, Warrington Bank Quay and Lancaster, with prices starting from just £12 for a London to Stafford single. These tickets are on sale for travel from 1 August.

Avanti is also partnering with Seatfrog to offer passenger the option to upgrade to Standard Premium on its Liverpool route for as little as £18, cheaper than the normal upgrade price of £25.
